Some of the highest paying jobs in the US do not require any type of college degree. Examples are as follows:
1. Professional Athlete (NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, etc.)
2. Skilled trades (welder, machinist, millwright, etc.)
3. Actors & Actresses (movies or TV)
4. Construction workers (masons, carpenters, etc.)
5. Union workers for automotive industry (GM, Ford, Chrysler, etc.)
The downside to most of these professions is that (with the exception of 2 & 4) very few people get to do these types of jobs.

Move to Texas. It's cheaper here, by a lot. Get a brand new house for at least $120+. Get a big house for $500+, get a mansion in the low millions up the the high millions! My dad only has a high school degree and he works for Citi Bank as a collateral specialist or something like that. Right now he's temp but they're really liking him because he has so much experience doing that kind of bank stuff. Temporary he gets paid $15 an hour. But once full time he can go well over that, probably into the $20 an hour. You just have to know where to look and have a bit of luck. And don't be so picky. Get over the igh factor and get to workin'. Wouldn't it be great if you could sit down and have money fall on you while you watch tv? If that were the case, nobody would look for a job, huh? Your best bet, at least go to a community college and start from there. Here's a cool quote my teacher put on the board just the other day: "A lot of people miss opportunity because it's dressed in overalls and looks like work."

Sales jobs pay high wages. (not retail sales) Without a degree your options may be a little limited though if you can learn anything, learn sales. That skill can take you in many different directions. Start small and find a place with tuition reimbursement (which is worth a lot of money to you) and get some skills while you get a degree in something you are interested in doing long term. Even an Associates Degree or certificate program is worth a lot these days.
Good luck!

Working as a civilian in Iraq will pay loads but it isn't exactly a safe job. For many traveling salesmen jobs you don't need a degree (mostly you need charisma) but they only pay well if you sell a lot of the product. Oh yeah, and 'companionship services' :-)
Getting a degree or completing training courses of some sort are the best way to get ahead financially.

Sales is one of the most lucrative jobs that I've had without a degree. I'm in auto sales without a degree and I make more money now than people that have Doctorates.

It looks like you'll have very long hours, the base pay isn't that great.

Railroading. I am not joking either. These guys make so much money they dont know what to do with it all. They have women in every port, cheat on their wives, drink and run around. Many of them are liars and in debt up to their rear ends too, but believe you me,,, they make tons of money.
