Hey, i have wavy/curly hair and i want to straightener but parents said no straightener or curling iron. I have a blowdryer with a straightening comb attachment so that kinda helps and im not getting a con-air dryer or something.
do you have any ways so i could straightner my hair with no straightener? i can use gel and stuff but it has to be fast cause i have to go to school in the monring so the most time to get it straight has tobe 20 min okay? thanks for your help.

get a flatening serum at the drugstore to help. Everyone has one. Redken and Haime Munoz. Use a round brush instead of the attachmnet and you will get better results (more smooth). I've been straightening my hair this way for about 15 years!!! If you really want to cut your time, get a Revo Styler hair brush - you have to practice with it a few times to get it down. You can find it online or on ebay. I've had mine for 5 years and I don't go a day without it.

well, the only thing i can say is that you need to get a straightener. I had the same problem, and my parents said no straightener too. but in the end i convinced them that its actually a really good idea to have a straightener. dont try talking to your dad, because normally dads dont understand. try convincing your mom its a good idea. use it on her if she has the same kind of hair texture as you. the problem with gels is that they damage your hair, no matter what it says on the cover. i straighten my hair every day and i have enough time for it. i wake up at 7 and leave the house at 8. the only way to go is a straightener, or try some moose. sorry if i couldnt halp that much!

After washing your hair, comb it straight while it's still wet and smooth some frizz-ease serum on the roots of your head, and on the tips. While blowdrying, brush down in the way that your hair grows, making sure not to let the other side dry too quickly or else it will wind up looking poofier than the other side. If it starts to dry while you're blowdrying one side, spritz water on it using a spray bottle. Try to use on medium heat or else you could still wind up looking poofy.

Do the same to the other side and once you are finished, if it's still looking rather poofy, smooth some more frizz-ease serum on it and spritz with a leave in conditioner. Comb it through. Blow dry on low heat this time in the direction that your hair grows while combing. Once you are finished, if it's still rather dry, spritz a little more leave in conditioner on and you should be good to go.

Make sure to carry a hair tye with you throughout the day in case you have to throw it up in a ponytail in case the weather gets humid. That could be disasterous.

yeh well you can look at the stores for a comb that looks like a straightner but it is not. it is jsut a regular comb that opens and closes and it has the bushy brisks at the top and bottom. grab a piece of hair and with that brush comb it like you would do if u had a straighner, then at the same time use the blowdryer. this works just fine

there is deffintily a way. what you need to do is take a shower, or wet you hair completley. then take one of them cylinder brushes you know the ones with pricks all around the cylender. n take a hair blow dryer and using the brush start from the top slowly brush through hair with the blow dryer on the other side. do this untill your hair is completley dry and it looks a lot better then straightening your hair with a straightener.

I use Citre Shine, it's a "get smooth straightening gel". You'll have to experiment with how much you need to use. Start with just very little. It can leave your hair more oily looking than you might want if you use too much. It works great for me. It can be used every day.
It comes in a white tube with orange label and black letters. Give it a try.

They make a straightening iron. It heats up like a crimper but it straightens the hair.

i highly suggest going to a hair salon and getting a japanese perm
it straightens your hair and also it lasts for a longgg time.
(i love it)
plus you dont have to worry about straightening your hair after a shower cuz itll be straight even if you let it air dry

i hope this helps cuz i know this saved me ALOT of trouble with my hair!

** PLUS humidity wont un-straighten it**

I don't know what kind of parents you have or even how old you are for your parents to say you can't have a straightning iorn. They control your hair? That's odd. But walgreens have temporary hair straightning kit that last 3 months, and is only temporary.
