I use this for weddings, it is better than almost all commercial diffusers:

The Gary Fong Lightsphere
The Demb diffuser
Stoffen Omnibounce
I use the Fong Dong sometimes, and I also use a white card banded to the head for bounce when I don't want Tupperware attached to my flash! ;-) (I use Nikon flashes, but the function is the same.) The Fong is pretty good if you're close enough. The omnibounce is just a tad harsher than a Lightsphere. I have not tried the Demb, but wedding photogs seem to like it a lot, it has variable output depending on how it is positioned. I think I will get one!

Quick and dirty. Hold one or more sheets of kleenex over the flash head with a rubber band
