I disagree with all those who accuse islam as a religion and deny its truth without sufficently researching it through appropriate sources.
I invite everyone along with you to study islam with an open mind and heart to see the truth and beauty of it.
If not then atleast study islam to know your God ..... it sure does have the best concept of God ..... just for that one reason studying islam is worth it.

I don't, a religion that pledges loyalty to any other being besides the one true God, cannot be pure much less perfect. The one true God is the one and only being to whom we must show loyalty, not to any person that was as human as any of us. When I hear that Muslims pledge loyalty only to the one true God, ask me again.

I agree, but I am Muslim and I know how Islam really is. Unfortunately many people refuse to see the truth about Islam. They are content with what the see in the media, and that is not even close to the truth most times.

To be honest, I never thought much about Islam until 9/11. Then information about it came to the forefront.

In ALL Islamic nations it is forced on them. American Islam is nothing near the true Islamic religion.

i agree with you. Its just sad to see how negatively Islam has been portrayed in the west. The westerners have been brainwashed by their own media and they dont even realize it.

It is also nice, simple, elegant logic to say "All men are pink with purple polka dots. Fred is a man. Fred is pink with purple polka-dots." That doesn't make it true.
So, why would I want to take my presuppositions and logic about God from a failed prophet whose only success started coming when he turned robber and emperor and whose prophecies seem so inconsistent and convenient? I don't see any reason. In terms of simple logic, it reminds me of a con.

read the Koran. i love muslims. but i just cannot figure out why the Koran is written with so much anger.
"9.29" : Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor
do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the
religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book(christians), until they pay
the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of
subjection.
[19:88] Those who say the Lord of mercy has begotten a Son preach a monstrous falsehood, at which the very heavens might crack, the earth break asunder, and the mountains crumble to dust. That they should ascribe a Son to the merciful, when it did not become Him to beget one. (this verse generates hate on christians)
to who?: then maybe you can explain to me why Muhammed was so against Jews and Christians specifically, writing violent verses against them, teaching a people to hate.

No i don`t agree, in my opinion you better do something for your community and your fellow human than praying 5 times a day. Or to generalize a little bit, you better to something useful than wasting your time worshiping a deity. We`re all humans and we`re all mortals, but together we`re immortal!
