Paisa means money in some indian languages like hindi and malayalam ... but why would your friend call you by that name?!

Its usually told to people that is from the same Country that you are from it's short of Paisano(Spanish)

paisa is the shortening for

paisano(a) = compatriot, fellow countryman or -woman;
adj. of the same country, region or place.

it does n t mean money it means..... brother .paisano..its latin or italian . only people that come from the same land or culture can say it to each other
