Pro-choicers - I have never seen any of you run around in a T-shirt with the words "I'm pro-abortion. Please abort!" on it, or have riots in the streets when people choose not to terminate their pregnancies.

I am sick and tired of anti-abortionists acting as if pro-choicers are advocating abortion. We advocate a woman's right to choose. Nothing else. Nobody wants to have an abortion or have a friend choose to, but that doesn't make it any less a woman's right.

If men could get pregnant, do you, as an anti-abortionist, believe abortion would be illegal?

There is a huge difference in being Pro-choice and Pro-abortion. One give the woman the right to choose and the other simply wants abortion to be totally legal. Your question made a lot of sense, and if men could get pregnant, I don't believe that anything would be different. It takes two to get pregnant, and it should take two to decide on what to do with the pregnancy.

That's a moral dilema that will always divide the country. Personally, I agree with you. No woman wants to have an abortion but unfortunately due to situations they choose that option. Sad but true. I'm for taking care of the kids that make it into the world. Thereare way too much innocent children suffering that can be avoided or reduced by the same self-righteous groups who claim to be anti-abortion. Don't get me wrong some do help but not enough. By the way I am pro-life and against violence of any kind.

Pro-choicers don't advertise the way pro-lifers do, in my opinion. Most pro-choicers that I have met were calm, rational, and their arguments made sense. Most pro-lifers that I have met were in my face, aggressive and crazy. They made pro-lifers and Christians look bad. They made me less supportive of pro-lifers. While I may not agree with everything the pro-lifers or pro-choicers said, at least the pro-choicers weren't so aggressive and in my face offensive. The pro-choicers were the ones that really listened (and accepting) to me even though my opinions weren't the same as theres. Pro-lifers didn't.

There was a man that use to drive around in a beat up truck near elementary schools in my neighborhood. On his truck he had wooden boards hammered together. On the boards he had bible quotes taken out of context that didn't support his stance at all, which showed me that he wasn't very knowledgeable of the bible. Some of the boards also had extremely graphic photos of aborted babies. (Not an aborted fetus, but aborted babies). He would yell out of his window as he road down the street. He would hand out pamphlets that were very unJesus like. He definitely didn't gain any fans or converts. What was his purpose?

If men could get pregnant, I think certain things would definitely be different.

I believe if men could get pregnant they would get alot of abortions. Any woman I have talked to that has had one has had guilt feelings. Do you think the nurses in an abortion clinic tell women that? I don't think so. I know of an ObGyn doctor that was doing abortions that stopped because of the guilt he felt at terminating pregnancies. It's a very weighty issue....Not to be taken lightly...

The choice I would make is not to have sex with anyone, whom I don't feel comfortable about having their child right now. Another choice, wait until I get married. Another logic which make makes sense, if I have sex with somebody I am not committed to what do I do if I end up with AIDS. That is a lot harder to abort.
