The AF is not currently taking any Prior Service. They have closed the program until FY '08. Even when it was open this year, it was only for select career fields with only 40 slots total.

Being prior military is only a plus to any air force recruiter. The big question is do you have marketable skill that you can bring to the air force and become cross rated. As long as you didn't have any problems in prior service and you are still at a age that fits into active duty guidelines ( under 28 for enlisted and for officers i have no clue).

Doubtful. USAF is downsizing.

As far as I know all branches accept prior service members but its all according to the mission as you know.

Army accepts prior military with glee. They're letting Grandparents and Gangstas join.

They all accept prior service. Your reenlistment code (located on your discharge papers) may disqualify you. Having skills they are looking for would help as well. Given the limited information in your question, not even a recruiter can guess if you would be accepted.

Yall can't forget the Air Force Reserve. They acceptt prior service no problem as long as there isn't problems such as disability, etc. Other than that, still try both. good luck.

No branch takes playstation till you meet very particular standards.. alongside with being already qualified in an understrength MOS/AFSC/score. the army at one element became into allowing everyone who met the factors to enlist for 18x regardless of their earlier activity. shelter and Reserves are extra versatile.
