The big role played by money. Money can buy everything and anything. To buy a house, to see a doctor, to hire a lawyer, to run a political election, to send your kids to school.... Human lives, justice, political rights, education.... are all based on how much money you have. A person's success therefore is also measured by how much money he/she makes. Materialism drives us away from our faith in God.

I would say absolutely none.
The purity of true Christian faith cannot be eroded by practices of the world around us. It is eroded only by the desire of Christians to be conformed to this world's way of thinking.

Purity? What reality are you living in? The Christian faith hasn't been pure in a very long time, I think the Council of Nicea in the 4th century saw the removal of the last pure parts of it.

Children getting an education and going onto college. Reading good literature, watching the news, going on the internet, and talking first hand to people of other religious and social backgrounds.
Anything that promotes logic can be dangerous since the bible is highly flawed if taken literally

How about the worship of money? Not exactly modern but certainly a big part of our consumer culture.

fornication a.k.a casual sex, hookin up, and any other ways of saying 'to have premarital sex' that i missed. i mean come on! how many times in the bible does it say not to do that and how many Christians do it and have their particular church say that it's ok? as far as culture goes right now, it's definitely something that's going on and getting worse and worse. i know of kids that leave there church that preaches against premarital sex and go to another one that accepts it and says that it's ok. how much more proof do you need of erosion? I'm sure i can come up with plenty like hypocrisy, lying, stealing, cheating, etc.

Being born, of course. Christians are born evil, as they readily admit, and never get rid of the stain. The less born, the more pure the rest.

bringing paganism into Christianity such as the Easter bunny and colored eggs and Santa Clause and other things that simply are not true. But there is a lot of things that needs to change before Christianity is even close to pure.

Anything that deviates from, adds to or eliminates from the teachings of the Bible. I don't believe there is much ambiguity.
