Yea it gets exhausting and at times we do feel like telling GOD to shove it but we realize that its not the power of man that keeps us living and moving but the power and breath of GOD and so if theres anything worth wasting it on it'll be telling other people about HIM.

God already knows what we think so it is okay to express our frustration to him. As long as we don't allow it to control our lives and turn us from God. Instead we should use these moments to ask God to help us deal with the frustration.
As for the people on Y!A...it's not frustrating at all. The effort is done in the hopes that someone will stop for a brief moment to take an honest look at their spiritual condition. Realizing from the beginning that most will not makes the unsuccessful attempts of little surprise.
Our job is to warn. When we are rejected we simply shake their dust from our feet and move on.

No, of course not. Why blame God for man's choices? He gives us every opportunity to get our lives straight and offers His protection and love for those who do. It is not exhausting trying to tell others of His love and plan for them, that's our purpose for staying here instead of going straight to heaven when we believe and place our faith in Jesus. God is the original loving Father, Who wants only good for us. It was easy for me to believe Him, I think because I had a loving earthly father. He had many of the characteristics of God , though he had some human frailties. Many people never had that advantage and have never understood what it means to have a loving father who takes good care of his children. It's too bad they have skewed pictures of the father figure. I know that is a deter rant to accepting God's role in their lives. And of course, for others, there are other reasons. But, God does not change. He is just and loving at the same time.

No. I'm not trying to convince anyone on Y!A of my beliefs. The same goes for people I come into contact with every day. I have no issue telling what I believe, but you either accept it or not. It's not for me to convince anyone. You can't force God on people...no matter how strong your own convictions. It's their choice.

No, I never think that way. What I do when I am becoming exhausted is to ask God to give me the strength to work as though I were working directly for Him. To tell you the truth, it really works.

>>>It must be exhausting trying to convince people on YA of your beliefs.>>>
I guess it's no more tiring for atheists, who seem to spend a lot of time and energy trying to convince us of their beliefs.
Sometimes, of course, they don't try to gently convince -- rather, they demean and attack.
Anyway, I don't exhaust myself trying to convince people of my belief. I put it out there and explain why I believe what I do, and let them do with it what they will.

Exhausting? Hardly, but maybe that's because I don't try to convince people of anything. I tell them what I believe, and they either agree or disagree or don't care, and if they want to discuss it with me, that's when I'll discuss it.

The thought really never crossed my mind. It isn't my job to "convince" anyone, anyway. That's His job. I've just been commanded to plant seeds! =^)

Nope, never. Why would I have to convince anyone of my beliefs? Respect me and I'll respect you.

I get tired of the constant derision. But I enjoy a healthy debate.
