A Buddhist monk! LOLs...

Well, most Thais consider men who show little aggression, soft spoken, not a drunkard/gambler/womanizer as 'good'. A good man in Thai terms also refer to men who are religious and knows the ins and outs of cultural aspects of society whereby it will become a knowledge of survival and social etiquette.

For Thais, a good man is also of an outspoken personality and stand up for his family and the people he loves, while using his wisdom to voice out opinions based on the Truth (upholds nobility) and nothing else. He is also the head of the family in every way and a great servant and contributor to His Majesty the King and his people.

Last but not least, a good man in Thai terms also refer to a man good at heart (jai dee). All matters pertaining to relationship and communications are taken to heart by the Thais (you can find countless expressions with relation to the heart in the Thai language).

Someone who can provide for his family, responsible, honest, not promiscuous, faithful, don't over indulge in drinks, don't do drugs, don't gamble, cool-hearted.

These are a few important things I've come to realise I would want in a good man having lived in Thailand and seen Thai men behave.
