This statement brings up more questions that just a simple answer can provide. My first question would be have you done something really bad to make her very upset? Then you would need to see how your behavior is affecting her.
~~If you have done nothing serious than simple things can make her happy. As a mom myself and a daughter of a strict mother I find that we like our children listening to us the first time and pulling their own weight around the house. Nothing makes me happier than when I come home doing something I would enjoy rather than cleaning up after children. If you still don't think this will help or you are already doing it then LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER! I mean sit down and talk to her about what you are thinking of doing to make her happy and see what she thinks. Listen, listen, listen and then respond with kindness.

Sup, Cop. Daddy has your answer.

When Mommy is carrying the groceries, stop her and carry them for her.

When Mom is away, do the dishes and clean up the house so she won't have anything to do when she gets home.

Let Mommy sees you spend more times reading books than spending unreasonable time on the Internet.

Out of the clear blue sky hand your Mom a rose then say, " Just thought you'd like this," then kiss her on the cheek"

Iron your Mom uniform at times, too. She will be impressed.

When she starts to argue, don't walk away, stay right there and keep quiet.

Keep up this. Mom will love you.,

Plan to make her day special, give her breakfast in bed, hang out with her all day, all of that stuff. Also, telling a mother you care about her never gets old, it's way better than any material thing you can give her. Write her a poem or something from the heart if you cant think of anything on the spot.

Help her around the house and when she does something for you acknowledge it by saying thank you instead of being quiet.

Be the person she has brought you up to be thats all a mother wants, you to be happy!

Cleaning your room
Putting your laundry in the laundry.
Lowering the toilet seat.
Setting the dinner table.
Help clean up after dinner
Not leaving a mess for her to clean up in the living room.
Offering to babysit younger siblings.

Giving her a hug and saying " I appreciate you mom."

It depends. What does your mom really like? Maybe helping her around the house, or doing something really special. Take her out to dinner, and let her know how much you appreciate her.

Most parents want their children to be happy and healthy. Work hard at school/work and let her know you appreciate everything she's done for you...becoming a parent is a HUGE sacrifice (I have 2 beautiful children...believe me, I know) and your acknowledgment and appreciation would mean a lot more than material things

You could cook a nice dinner, help her do chores or give her a back massage. Why not all three I'm sure she deserves it.
