You can't be serious. Someone has said dinosaur bones are fake?
*head in hands* ohhh brother. And I'm a bible believing Christian, too!
The word "dinosaur" was not even in usage until the 1800's. The bible mentions dragons, leviathans, and beasts. But even if it doesn't mention dinosaurs, so what. They existed, it doesn't disprove the bible or creation at all.

There are some that really wont believe in dinosaurs because it disproves the Bible's explanation of the world. I had a friend who would throw his rattle if I so much as questioned why the dinosaurs were here millions of years before man. He said he did not believe the dinosaurs were ever here and that they have been made up - scary!

Unfortunately God created the world in 6 days then had a day off! So of course dinosaurs do not fit into this theory. As we all know they were around hundreds of thousands of years ago. Any religion based in faith is just that. I don't scorn Christians or try to convert them. Faith if you have it is a comfort to you when you need it so enjoy!

I am a Christian who believes in dinosaurs, because they are in the Bible. Look at the description of behemoth in Job chapter 40 beginning in verse 15. Also, another creature leviathan is described in Job chapter 41. My personal opinion is that behemoth describes a brontosaurus and leviathan is some sort of crocodile (but definitely not a crocoduck)

Yes...some Christians who adhere to a literal translation of the Bible don't believe dinosaurs ever existed. The logic is that when God created this world, he also created the dinosaur bones.
When asked why God would create the bones, the literalistic Christian replies, "To test our faith."
Ah well. You did ask, if it was true or not, not what I, or others believed ourselves.

Put it this way... when I was 13, I was in the school library looking at dinosaur books. My best friend actually said "You know, dinosaurs are fake and put in the ground by Satan to fool mankind into worshipping him".
I actually stopped dead and looked right at her then said "You can't possibly be that stupid".
She had the grace to look ashamed of herself.
So the answer is, yes some of them actually do believe that load of crap.

I don't believe in dinosaurs, unicorns, George Washington, Ancient Greece, Xena the Warrior Princess or even Atlantis. I believe in a living God.
But I do believe that dinosaurs walked the earth, then died off.

Shamefully, it's true. But these "Christians" are among those that do not read their Bibles.
Leviaathan and behemoth in Job, and "dragons" throughout the Old Testament are words that describe the magnificent beasts.
The word "dinosaur" wasn't coined until modern times.

I wouldn't put it past some religions to deny things like the dinosaurs...
Good for them...
But I'm content to believe what what I see.
