As a normal human being, its normal to be angry.
Bible allowed us to be angry, but not to hate. Grudges and revenge, are evil emotions, that releases harmful hormones in our body, that lower our immunity and causes sickness and disease.
The best way to deal with anger is to be assertive, not aggressive.
If someone offended you, tell him how you feel. Avoid trash talking, just say you been hurt by what he has done.
Reconcile immediately, If he apologized.

Grudges? Yes sometimes. Revenge? No. Although there are some people who I truly think deserve it, I don't feel right inflicting harm upon others out of anger.

As far as what trips my trigger... any sort of snide remark or passive-aggressive-ness. Though I don't take revenge, I've been known to snap at people and yell/chastise them.

When I was stoned I never held a grudge... Now, I can't let anything go. I am trying so hard to forgive, but I can't! If I feel taken advantage of, I feel like that person should pay! Often times, it's me who needs forgiveness in the end.. I don't know why I'm so evil. I want to be good, but it's difficult. I read stories of bad men becomng good all the time, and I wonder if any of it is true, and if it is actually even possible. If it is, why not me? Why can't I become good?

Holding a grudge or taking revenge works against you. It robs you of peace of mind, it gnaws at you, it is like a constant thorn in your body. Eventually it affects your health because it causes constant stress.
Forgiveness brings peace. It doesn't mean you will forget someone did you wrong but you stop dwelling on it, accept that the past can't be undone and move on with your life. Sometimes if you try you can even understand someone's motives and it also helps to forgive them.
So if someone gets on my nerves or hurts me I just remove myself from the situation.
