OOO I get to vent! Ok all my teachers (except my wonderful English teacher) seem to think that students should just be able to learn on their own while they sit at their desks sipping coffee. Then they get pissed when we say we don't understand the material! Plus someone pulled the fire alarm... again. I don't mind getting out of the room, but the alarm at my school is REALLY loud and gave me a very pounding headache along with the flashing lights that went off too. Now I'm finally home (after walking for an hour uphill in the sun) and I have a ton of homework to do which I really don't understand because apparently since I'm an honors student, I can just figure out trig and calculus stuff on my own without having any trouble.

We all need to vent sometimes. I hope you feel better. Now, why don't you begin to count the wonderful things about your life.....you did get to go home at the end of the work day, didn't you? You have loved ones in your life? Health? a job? Shelter? Friends? That's just a start. I like to wonder where I would be without these things in my life. And being grateful for life's gifts, you know the things that really matter, sort of gets me out of that lousy mood. Hope tomorrow is better for you and that boss. God bless both of you.

Salaam sis
Yeah I really had a bad day, too. I'm in customer service for a bank. My first phone call of the morning this guy cussed me up one side and down the other - basically made his sad self looked even more stupid than he already was. I had explained what happens when one deposits a check into the bank and the issue of the bank holding it. He just wanted his money and didn't care about anything else. He finally cussed at me enough and between all the f bombs he asked for a supervisor. I was glad to get him over there instead. Needless to say - the entire day was eerily similar to that first phone call.....

Without God I would have no sanity. My family has been through almost every test known and today we got turned down for a new apartment due to our credit score. Never mind that my husband makes decent money and we've paid our rent where we live for 3-1/2 years. We have his kids and don't get child support and I am disabled so things are tight. But we pay for our roof, food and the basics. Yes, we are often late on bills but I am disappointed to get denied based on a credit score and not the literal facts.

Sooo you have a good reason to be thankful because you're not in my shoes :p
Never mind such grumpy people sis, go out and wash your face, say God's names from your heart and take deep breathes, these are nothing but simple tests...

I've been in a relationship for the past year that I just recently found out wasn't really a relationship at all, and I mean as much to him as anybody else he knows. This feels just awesome, figuring two years ago I got separated from my fiancee.
Also, I've had a migraine for 23 days now.. my doctor likes guessing at my diagnosis and keeps throwing drugs at me.. yay for doctors. ....Venting is good.

I just heard Hamas and Fatah in Palestine are fighting each other and 6 guards have been killed. Rockets were even fired into Israel to get them involved in it.
The Bible clearly states they will fight brother against brother.
Now you know that you must love your boss and pray for him. Ask God to change his heart so the lives of the employees will be better.

There's this guy at work who is EXTREMELY religious. I have nothing against people who are religious, even though I am agnostic, but please don't try to force your religious beliefs down my throat. He is very smug. He makes these faces which gets on my last nerve. You know the type, rolling their eyes, snarling their lip. I don't hate him, I just want him to leave me alone. I respect anyone who is faithful to their personal belief but I have the right to disagree with him or anyone else. If I remember correctly there's a little something we have here in the USA called religious freedom. Thanks for letting me vent.

There is a man who has done physical harm to a woman I know & am close to. He has been arrested, restraining order granted to the woman. He seems to be trying to make her miserable in other creative ways. How does a man who victimizes get to continue to try to victimize & yet maintain his lifestyle as if not much has changed? It makes my blood boil she has to go to a food pantry at a church to eat while he's trying to buy a new car.
