i've seen over the counter drug tests locked up by the pharmacy section at grocery store before. the one that covered cocaine and marijuana was under 20 bucks. (call around, i'm sure someone carries it locally)
Shut off the water. Flush once so the toilet is out of flushes. Wait till he pees. Use the pee in the toilet for the test.
Sneaky I know but if he's lying to you about that he deserves sneaky.

If he using coke more than once a month, eventually it will become the only thing in life he cares about. He'll go broke, lose all his friends, get sicker and sicker and eventually die.... after screwing over everyone around him.

Frequent nose bleeds or sniffing, mood swings. Its important to notice patterns of behaviour, constant money problems despite a steady income, abstineeism, things of value disappearing. Cocaine users will do anything to suppose their habit. Good luck
