JEN P
i agree with her (if i had 250 pts you would have a THUMBS UP)
smoke from ANYTHING can harm your lungs, even from a campfire, etc. Marijuana does have medicinal purposes, but like jen said use a vaporizer or water bong to filter out the smoke.
Otherwise, do the ol fashioned way and stick it in your brownies or cookies.
(make some laced lightly (not enough that you can smell it though!) and offer to donate to a kids bake sale at their school.
Never more entertaining than seeing a bunch of stoned kids after school getting on the wrong bus ROTFLMAO.
I wonder what the bus drivers thought when they went through their ENTIRE route, and there were still kids on the bus?
yep, THOSE were the cookie customers

Sure as hell it can. It's smoke and contains the same carcinogens as tobacco smoke. Problem is, if you continue smoking it for years, you probably won't live long enough to die from long cancer anyway, as you'll something stupic way before hand to get yourself killed...like driving while stoned, or having a psychotic episode and jumping out of a window or just kill yourself when you realize how much of life you missed.

It is about as dangerous as smoking unfiltered cigarettes for cancer - but you're far more likely to get hurt by falling or driving or ODing with that and liquor - but other than that, and the always possibility of getting arrested and developing a reputation as a dope head and the possibility of spiked weed, and the worry that if you hang around those ppl someone will offer you other stuff one day and you'll try it .. other than those things, it's not that harmful really

Chronic marijuana smokers are prey to chest colds, bronchitis, emphysema, and bronchial asthma. Persistent use will damage lungs and airways and raise the risk of cancer. There is just as much exposure to cancer-causing chemicals from smoking one marijuana joint as smoking five tobacco cigarettes. And there is evidence that marijuana may limit the ability of the immune system to fight infection and disease.
Marijuana also affects hormones. Regular use can delay the onset of puberty in young men and reduce sperm production. For women, regular use may disrupt normal monthly menstrual cycles and inhibit ovulation. When pregnant women use marijuana, they run the risk of having smaller babies with lower birth weights, who are more likely than other babies to develop health problems. Some studies have also found indications of developmental delays in children exposed to marijuana before birth.

You can get lung cancer, like with any thing you smoke. Pot has never been proven to cause any other cancer. The safest way to smoke it is through a water pipe or bong that filters the smoke.

a small chance since you are inhaling particles into your lungs. But it's not nearly as bad as smoking cigarettes. The danger is when you smoke and drink. Weed will make you not feel sick. So if you have drank to much, the weed will not make you throwup, and you could get alcohol poisoning.

There is no medical research linking marijuana with cancer. The medical issues revolve around the smoke itself...it's never good for the lungs to have them filled with smoke. Buy a vaporizer, save your lungs.

I read that lab tests show that it will give you cancer way quicker than cigarettes. Your lungs don't like smoke. Period. and tarry smoke like from dope it seems to me would really clog up the old lung sacs.

it's much harder on your lungs than tobacco and causes more long term lung damage because of it.
It lacks the manufactured carcinogens added to most commercial tobacco...but then again you can never be sure what anyone put in your weed.
