Yes.
John 21:15-17 states:
When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." He said to him, "Feed my lambs."
He then said to him a second time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." He said to him, "Tend my sheep."
He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter was distressed that he had said to him a third time, "Do you love me?" and he said to him, "Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you." (Jesus) said to him, "Feed my sheep.
Matthew 16:17-19 states:
Jesus said to him in reply, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah. For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my heavenly Father. And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."
The Catholic Church believes the Lord made Simon alone, whom he named Peter, the "rock" of his Church. He gave him the keys of his Church and instituted him shepherd of the whole flock.
The Pope is the senior pastor of 1.1 billion Catholics, the direct successor of Simon Peter.
The Pope’s main roles include teaching, sanctifying, and governing.
With love in Christ.

Unfortunately it doesn't really matter what we believe. Catholics worship their Pope as a Living Deity (God) since 1871 made him the first and only person the legally claim infallibility (above all human law and above all human beings).
See The Almanac of Evil for more details:
http://one-faith-of-god.org/final_testament/end_of_darkness/evil/evil_0190.htm
Not even Jesus claimed to be infallible!
Christians believe Jesus established the office of Pope, and he gave the Pope unrestricted authority to govern the whole church, and to bind and loose, both on earth and in heaven.
He made his brother (James the Just) his successor. Unfortunately, this small fact is not only omitted from all christian history, but is denied.
I believe in Jesus. I choose not to be a heretic and worship the Living God known as Pope Benedict like Catholics.

Yes the pope lives (knuckle head above).
The current pope appears to be well educated and a man that loves God and his religion.
The pope cannot supersede the authority of God's written word - the bible.
So no I do not believe in the pope - Christians believe God and what He states in the bible.

Jesus evidently believes in the Pope ... and that's plenty good enough for me!

No, I don't believe in the Pope, I think he is Mr Ratzinger ex-Hitler youth member in disguise as the Pope don't you!
In fact I not only think it but I know for a fact that the Pope is really Mr Ratzinger, a single bachelor, women and gay hating, reponsible for the deaths of millions in Africa by putting about a lie that condoms do not help prevent Aids infection and hindering the distribution of condoms there.

Believe in him?? I've seen pictures of him so he is certainly real. Is he what the Church claims he is? Yes. Jesus Himself appointed the first Pope, the apostle Simon, telling him he was the Rock upon which the Church would be built, giving him full authority (the keys to the kingdom) and the charism of infallibility ("whatsoever you bind upon earth is bound in heaven").
Result? 2,000 years of unity in belief, unity in teaching and unity in worship, just as Jesus said it should be ("that they all may be ONE"). Result of attempting to live Christianity apart from the authority of the Pope? 500 years of continuous fragmentation into thousands of unauthorized conflicting manmade churches, and doctrinal chaos. You just can't beat God's plan.

Oh, I believe he exists. I just don't believe he is infallible. And since I am not a Catholic, or even a Christian, I do not grant him any authority over me.
Actually, he seems like a pretty nice old guy.

I believe that he is a man who is the leader of the Roman Catholic church.
I know he exists because I've seen him on TV.
Do I believe that he talks to god? Sure- lots of people do.
Do I believe that god talks to him? heck no.
Do I believe that he was the 'go-to' guy for Priests' sexual abuse claims against the church, and that he was one of the prime people in the cover up? You bet. I guess his interpretation of god is one that would want him to cover it up.

Yes, he does exist. Luckily for you his teachings are not compulsory so you can afford to ignore him.
