I do not think I can agree because we are always learning... a year seems like an eternity to a seven year old but as you get older a year passes in a heartbeat... which is a good thing... we are always learning...

Words are pointless, in the beginning there were no words, but words are made by man to try and explain the unexplainable and touch the intangible... THIS HOWEVER, I really like and will save it... I will search the internet to see who said this and if it is you who made this up, I hope you do not mind me repeating it!!!

No, I would not agree. What you have paired here are the extremes of various scales, wherein one does not necessarily imply the other. For example, some things are healthy, but that does not mean everything else is unhealthy. When something is beautiful, it does not say what else is or is not beautiful. Long and short are measurements which compare to one another or to what is expected. My answers may be long, but some others are even longer. And not everything which has just a few words less than mine can be considered short.

As to the last paragraph, I don't see the logic at all. Words do try to explain the inexplicable and describe the intangible, but that does not imply they are worthless. They may not give a perfect impression, but they give something.

Good Thinking from a philosophical point of view. but i would not agree to the point that words are pointless. but there are scenarios where an action or a gesture or mere silence conveys more meaning than words can. Even in those cases, words are not completely pointless. just that they get the value of the situation down where it could have been conveyed better through a mere gesture. Rather it would be more apt to put it as words bring down the quality in certain situations

And as for the first three, its a perspective issue and varies from person to person. but its perfectly true. In Order to compare one with the other, u need a standard. and these are standards which vary from person to person

Language is a art, Writing is a skill . This is and the process of thought is what separates us from the animals. Words are not pointless as "the pen is mightier than the sword".You may be out of touch.

True but words are powerful too. I understand what your saying and true at the beginning we did not speak, so at that time I wounder were we independent thinkers or telepathic thinkers or followers. Like Ants, just doing what came natural, until we were invaded.

I disagree. If I decide something is healthy, it does not follow that the other stuff is unhealthy, it simply means one thing is healthier than the other.
If you like to confuse yourself you can but don't persuade yourself that all of us agree with you.

If you only look for health--you may have no clue about unhealthy

if you only look at beauty you won't know anything about ugly

what about to long

Thoughts are abstract--word bring a commonality to communicate in an effective and affective manor.

Very astute.

There 'are' preverbal / non verbal levels of consciousness, mind.

They appear to be the deepest & most peaceful.

Thanks for the great Question.

Best Wishes,

The Road to HEAVEN (the kingdom within) is paved with your good intentions. You have the free will to decide, and also, to change your mind.

the last aprt is totally wrong....in the beginning was the WORD and the WORD was with God and the WORD was God! Just by simply voicing His desires the universe came to be!
