It's different for everyone, cause I don't have a strong odor when I'm mentrating. It also depends on how often you change your pad/tampon. The more you change it, the lesser the odor!! Since I use tampons, I don't smell anything.

If you take a bath for a half an hour it helps the bleeding and the scent. The scented tampons ARE NOT GOOD FOR YOU AT ALL. Don't get them;; but scented pads work really well if your more of a pad person.
Also just shower more. Theres nothing really you can do. I dont really smell mine and if i do i spray a little purfume on my pants to hide the smell.

yes it does.. =[ well i guess people do not actually smell you. but to prevent this from happening try the Kotex scented kind of pads like for example there would be like Lavender scented ones. or you could use tampons also to prevent the odor. sitting for a long period of time actually makes the odor worse if you use a pad.

when i have my period i change my pad A LOT!! i'm SO conscious (spelling??) about it! Also i use a lot of perfume to try to cover it up...not like a disgusting amount...but enough...and i take a lot of showers also another thing to hide it is to make something about you look really good and hope people will be too obsessed looking at that part of you and might not notice or they would just forget!

i use those new pads from always.
they come with the wipe attached so if you feel a little dirty or smelly (like most of us do when we get our period) you can clean up and smell fresher.

make sure you shower everyday, the cleaner the better! kinda like your armpit, less hair = less smell. and uhh... they have scented stuff too and cleansing wipe thingies to freshen up when you're at work/school/wherever.

wear a tampon cuz my swim coach/ human growth teacher said that if you wear a tampon it won't stink. Cuz blood dont' stink until it hits oxygen! Sounds SO gross but we had to have that talk. (For girls who arent' there yet!) Hope this helps!
