You would probably lose about 25 lbs - although as the pp mentioned not sure that you would be alive and well to enjoy it.

I'm guessing you are referring to 200 calories a day, rather than 200 calories for the entire 17 day period. At your weight, you could probably still lose a decent amount of weight (about 10 pounds) if you were to eat up to 1000 calories a day and slight exercise.

I'm sure you will lose weight, but you may be bedridden for the wedding ! It will affect your equilibrium. It will affect your brain. Your eyesight will not be right. Things will look wavy. You need at least 1200- 1500 calories a day, and that's a fact.

You might lose a lot of weight, but it won't be fat loss, it will be muscle loss. The more muscle you lose, the higher your body fat becomes. Of course it's unhealthy, we don't need to tell you that. But what you do need to know is it's also incredibly stupid, unless you want to end up fatter and very ill in the process.

And at 120lb, you shouldn't even be considering losing weight, you obviously have some kind of eating disorder and need help.

Take care.

Well, you already know it's not healthy...but not only that...it'll backfire on you. The human body only knows feast or famine. Anytime you drop your caloric intake by 500 or more calories...your body will go into starvation mode and will start storing fat.

So, I guess I won't be getting "best answer" on this one. Dang.

it really depends on how much body fat you have as to how much water weight will be lost. I would estimate about 10-15 lbs of water weight with no measurable fat loss. if you need to lose weight at 5'7 and 120 lbs your body fat must be well above average.

at 5'7'' and 120 you are exactly my body size and your BMI is around 19. losing 20 pounds would put you at a clinically underweight status. you've got to be kidding me.

i know you didn't ask for advice, but c'mon... get real. you can't expect us to answer a question that is self destructive and highly stupid in nature. your body, at 120 pounds, is HEALTHY. why would you want to destroy your health like this? you are way off base here and i'd hate for you to screw up your metabolism, insulin resistance and blood pH level all in the name of a fad diet. what you are proposing will damage your body and is highly unadvisable.

first, it isnt unhealthy.. cuz your BMI and fat percentage can change that. i dont think you really need to lose 20 pounds cuz that really will be unhealth. you probably want to tone your body... work on strength exercises. dont use to much weight cuz then you'll gain weight cuz muscle weighs more than fat. try yoga and pilates. they are targeting your muscles. good luck
