Anything under 70 is good. Under a minute isn't really feasible unless you're really good. I don't thing there was a 400 runner in my league that ran under a minute when I was that age.

I would say anything sub 70 for a 12 year old is pretty good.

Well this is my first year of track...i am 12...but if you are a guy i think guys and girls time varies alot. and i am a girl so yea. i ran a like 1:15 i think. And that is pretty slow. I think as long as you can get it in 1:20 that is pretty good.

Assuming you're a male 12-year-old (from Avatar), anything sub-minute is pretty good!

under 70 seconds im the fastest 6th grader and i get 1:08 and then closest person to me is 1:18

so under 1:20 would be good

i know a guy that ran it in 56.3 and it was AMAZING but he didn't even place in the top eight at districts..but that was a good time for my school (he was 15 btw)

Well, everyone has different limits and such, so as long as you do the best you CAN do, then you should be fine.
