I had this sort of problem in middle school as well. I would occaisonally slightly twist my ankle while running, and it would hurt for days, even weeks afterwards. It obviously started somewhere, as did yours 4 years ago. That means that it was reccuring, and it would happen again after a short while of it being fine even if I didn't twist it again. However, I never put a brace on it, and I just roughed it every time it happened, waiting for it to go away. Eventually, it went away for good.
A lot of the times, recurring injuries like this are a sort of growing pain. Because our bodies are growing, the joint, if initially injured, will continue to reinjure itself because the body grows around the injury. Every time the area has a growth spurt, it becomes more likely to become injured again. The injury and/or pain will more times than not go away once you grow out of it.
As for using a brace, I didn't only because I have a high pain threshold and I didn't see a need for myself to wear one. If you find that the pain disrupts your life too much and you feel that you really need to do something about it, wear the brace. If you've got a good amount of insurance, it might even be a good idea to have it looked at by a doctor. But otherwise, treat it as your relationship with a sibling. You're both growing up together and sometimes he/she will get annoying, but this is what's also considered growing pains. Eventually, you'll grow out of it. Just try to keep your wrist from getting hurt any more than it already is and you should be fine.

Though I think that your wrist will eventually heal itself, it will never be the same. It will always be the "weaker" one and will probably cause you more pain in the future.
This is why I suggest visiting a doctor or buying a wirst brace yourself. I think that if you wear the brace long enough, your wrist will heal correctly and will perform at a much higher level than if you were to just leave it unbraced.

Depends on the brace. If it's a soft pull on elastic brace, that's fine. You can practice and compete in those. However, if it's a stiff brace with plastic/metal support to decrease mobility - don't wear it. Have a trainer or coach tape it with pre-wrap and athletic tape for support and continue to ice it after your workout/games.

I don't have any advice about your wrist, but just as an aside, at 14, you are not done growing. My mother graduated high school when she was 16 and grew 7 inches after she started nursing school at 17. I grew 4 inches after my 21st birthday.

try wearing a wrist brace at night or even for a couple days to a week straight and then see how it feels, i have broken both of my wrists and sprained my right one also and they constantly crack and ache i also sometime put icy hot on where it hurts and then put my bandage on.

First of all tell your parents. They will probably have you see a doctor. You may have re-injured it somehow or perhaps it's just weak from so many injuries. It's also possible that you could have carpal tunnel syndrome. A doctor is your best bet.

I'd see a doctor. You probably need an anti-inflamatory medicine to help the swelling inside.

Yes, have your mom make you an appointment with your doctor. I hope that your wrist is better soon.
