Here is His Considered Revolutionary Insightful Point-blank View on all the religions of the Past:
"Religions of the past were all life-negative and masochistic, teaching that sorrow and suffering are great virtues.
A laughing religion, A RELIGION THAT ACCEPTS LIFE IN ITS TOTALITY IS YET TO BE BORN.
And it is good that old religions are dead, and that along with them the old God, the God of our concepts, is also dead."
Osho
Do you consider the birth of a New Religion on the linessuggested by Osho will be welcome?

The talking point is not Osho but his views on the existing religions & the need for one on new lines.
Let's not talk about the Teller but his message for what it is worth, O.K.?

YES i know him but only a little...
ok let us consider the past 100 years...christianity,hinduism,buddhism,muslims,sikhs everyone were here. They believed in God.They did all the same stuff what we r doing right now....WERE THEY HAPPY?DID THEIR PURSUIT FOR HAPPINESS EVER END?DID THEY FIND ANY ANSWERS?WAS THERE PEACE?......NO!...u know that...they came to this world and they r gone...
Politicians and Priests have corrupted our innocent minds, they have always suppresed our natural body and mind setup...They have caused fear in everything we do...they have split us in two(the 1part of us which wants to do something and other saying its wrong bcoz of society).....Let us try this new religion and let us be happy to drown and die in love...that will be much better
remember:If nothing is working ,GET OUT ..change the system, dont die the same way billions have died in the past without finding the ultimate bliss...
opinions differ...

Hi there. I have never heard anything about or from this Osho man... just what you have said here. But it seems to me that if he thinks "religions of the past were ALL life-negative and masochistic" then he doesn't have either a very broad understanding of religions, nor a very deep understanding of specific religions. Just about all religions accept life in its totality, both the joy and the pain. A "laughing religion", that does not acknowledge the value of suffering, is one that lacks compassion and understanding.
You are welcome to email me with more specifics of this man's beliefs. As I said, all I have to go on is what you have said in this brief message here.
Peace be with you.

Osho has a lot to learn about life. It is our trials of suffering and sorrows that strengthen us.
If life were only fun and games, who would wash my clothes, mow my yard, cook my food or bathe my dog? Who would make arrangements for my loved ones' funerals? And there are many more questions that I could ask.
God is not dead and He is still in charge and we will all answer to Him. Create all the religions that you want, but there is only One True God and He is still in heaven on the throne. We will all meet Him at the Judgment Seat of Christ.
"A religion that accepts Life," - God is life and without Him there is no life. We will all get smarter one day.
Your "Laughing Religion" is as old as Satan. It is man doing what he wants to do and ignoring what God said to do.

Osho is notoriously cultish.
And you should read more and see why he is considered as such.
His lovely messages are pretty attractive at first, he uses general concepts that seem nice to just about anyone, but any ideal, any philosophy, any religion, that exhalts a human being, and gives that human a source of income, is undoubtedly, an evil and cultish existence.

It depends on what one wants to achieve from this life. If you want to simply make merry and enjoy materialistic life, till you die, then Osho is OK. And in that case, you can even do without him.
'Spiriualism' such as of Osho is also in fashion these days. Everybody wants to project himself as spiritual, but on his own terminology. We are the followers of spiritual path only when we do it on His terms.
