Coffee Mate and dark red food dye or Rit. It's exactly the
right consistency. If you need it to be a little thicker, mix
in some yogurt. Yummy.

2/3 cup Corn Syrup
1/3 cup Water
5 Tablespoons Corn Starch - (watch for lumps!)
3 to 5 Teaspoons Red Food Coloring
2 or 3 Drops Green Food Coloring

Remember when adding color, the real thing is dark reddish brown. Experiment first, then when ready for real mixture, use same formula - but make alot. You want it to match.
This can also be ingested as it is all edible.

Hope this helps.
