i've been working out vigorously for five weeks. i didn't drop a single pound. but now i'm on my sixth week and i just magically dropped 9 pounds in 2 days. should i be worried???

ohh no no no. i meant cardio. i'm trying to lose weight i just want to know if this is strange in anyway. don't get me wrong. i'm happy about it because it's been a very long and super hard five weeks.

you might have dropped water weight which your body stored since you started exercising

I'd concern myself more with overall tone and muscular build than overall weight. Remember muscle weighs more than fat so you could have a great muscular build and weigh more than someone who is fat. Besides, the weight you could have been watching this whole time may be mostly water weight maybe clothes etc.
