How can i change this because many people tell me that I am verry pretty and they say that they would like to date me, when I ask them though they tell me that i am too fat and ugly, and no one would ever dream about dating me. Any suggestions on how to fix this.

yeah, you kinda don't make sense to me...
who does say you're pretty and who does say you're too ugly to date? is it the same person or not?
there are 2 possblities:
1. if it's the same person --> he actually likes you, guys like to play around about the girl they like.
2. if it's different person --> there are different standards for beauty. Beauty is a HIGHLY subjective concept.
In my opinion, one of the most beautiful girls on the planet are Koreans. But most Korean girls are inconfident with the way they look that 8 in 10 Korean girls go through facial surgery.
But then... the Korean guy friends I have always pointed people I don't consider good-looking as good-looking.
It's Highly subjective, the beauty concept.
And hey... there's someone for everyone.
And then.. beauty is not all about physical appearance.
I'd rather be ugly than be stupid.

No one is too ugly... and you are probably not ugly either, thats a guys way of saying no i do not want to date you and they can't think oif a better reason than that and it is really low and you can have someone better if they thonk that about you i bet you are beautiful and you do not need a guy to reinforce that, there is sop much more than guys in this world, when you find that right guy he will fall head over heels for you and want to be with you because of who you are and not what you look like anyways.

no ones ugly , everyone is beautiful in their own way, if u think its time for a change simply go on a nice diet work out a little bit and try some make- up and everything will work out great. and for people to call u fat and ugly means that those people have no lives so dont listen to them. you know your beautiful and im sure some guys think so too.

NOBODY is "too" ugly to date!!!!! There is beauty in everyone - some people just have more of it on the outside. How is your self-esteem? It sounds not too good. I have found a wonderful 12 step program (no, you don't have to be addicted to drugs or alcohol) through my church. It is a great way to grow your self-esteem starting with your insides.
No matter what, God loves you. He wants the best for you and wants you to have a happy life, but more than anything, he wants to know you because he loves you. Seek him first.

OK first off, the people who tell you that are not cool &they dont know anything about real beauty. What you need to do is first start by telling yourself you are beautiful cause you are.
Second you need to start looking into yourself to find you I mean to find the person you feel comfortable with. To be happy with yourself you need to get to know you. do things you like feel confident in you cause your not ugly we all have things we hide and would like to change but just getting down to honesty you still have to live with it so love you cause you are loveable. Enjoy doing things you love and cherish all you see and do that makes you happy cause doing so you will find a person to love and cherish you too. We all have a person or persons out there we just have to find ourselves cause when you do some other person will find you too. Keep try "GOD" has beautiful children..

"Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder." What one person will see, someone else want. You are what you portray. Don't ever buy in to what someone else says about you. That is life's sucker punches! We believe them and then our self worth gets down graded. Stand up to these people and let them see you as you want to be seen. All you have to do is believe you are. Self confident whips ridicule every time. :) Someone once told me I was ugly, but I showed them and the rest of the world. You can too!!!

You've got to feel good about yourself first. Self confidence is a big self esteem booster. If you feel good about yourself, others will see it.
Besides, there is someone for everyone out there, just because they're not next door doesn't mean they don't exist, you just haven't found them yet. It took me until I was 28 to find the man of my dreams, and man is he perfect for me. Be patient and love yourself, cause in the end that is all that matters.

You could lose some weight and get a makeover. But the most important thing is not to dwell on the negatives, but to emphsize the positives.
Nobody's perfect, people like to date whomever they like to be around. If you're so critical on your own self, they might worry you'll find bad stuff about them too.

No such thing as being to ugly to be dateable. There is always someone who will find you to be the most beautiful person in the world.
