Pride is the downfall of everything. Every war can be traced to someones pride. Every divorce ends with either party's pride. Families split and never speak to eachother because of pride. People are emotionally hurt because of someones pride. Pride is blinding and destroys all that come in contact with it, including, but most important the person who holds to the pride.

It is one of the things that God disliked so much He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. Pride shows someone doesn't recognize that it is God that gives, and not of self ability. It is a nasty and devastating tool of Satan.
