So, I dropped my Kodak EasyShare V603 camera, only about a foot above the ground, and the camera just turned off (but with the lens still stuck out). So, I go to turn it back on and the start up "KODAK" screen comes on, it makes the start up noise, and then just turns off again. It's not a lack of power, because it's plugged into the charger right now... and the same thing is still happening. And still, the lense just stays still, no movement.

Can I save it?

If the internal lens barrel gets knocked out of alignment it will cause that condition. If the camera senses that the lens is not in the proper position or not moving, it will turn back off rather than cause more damage. Pushing on the lens barrel to try to fix it will usually cause more problems than it already has. It has to be disassembled to be repaired.

Kodak's warranty does not cover damage from impact, or water or sand, etc., so it wouldn't be covered under warranty.

I did the comparable project to mine, two times! I in simple terms performed with the lens, twisting and pulling, and it will honestly popped returned into place. a pal did the comparable project awhile in the past and offered a sparkling one, and once I informed her what I did, she tried it and now she has 2 working cameras, lol. wish it works!

Yes, try pressing the lens in by the outside rim of the camera, around the screen. You probably have to press hard, it worked for me.

it depends. You have to check your warranty that came with the camera. You usually have a 1 or 2 years to take it back if anything happens. So if your warranty is still good, you can take it back and get a new one.
