Don't be silly. Everyone has to wear their seatbelt. It's the law. It isn't loving not to care about our lives because others depend on us and would miss us. So no, I'm not super excited to die because it would hurt my family and my brothers and sisters. Aside from that, I'm willing to stay or to go as God wills. I'm looking forward to seeing Him, but I can wait until He says it's time. Is life the most precious gift? Well, that depends on what you mean by "life." If by "life" you mean simply existing and breathing, then no, life is not the most precious gift. If you're talking about divine life, the life of God, personified by Jesus Christ, who lives in His people, then YES! But no car wreck can take that kind of life away. That life you keep for all eternity.

Most precious gift of life . . .experiencing authentic love. That could be in love of child, one who you are ' in love ' with, a relative, friend . . . your own self.

Gift of death . . . for the soul to be released from this precious shell...this physical body...and to once again be purely one with the One...with the Pure Light. And if a cherishing, enlightening life was lived before that physical death...then those ' memories ' and cleaner Light will only serve to honor and enhance the Light of the One that one has returned to fully. That, to me, would be the gift presented to (God) the One...to all unitedly...as we ARE all One.

In the meantime...My gifts are having found my authentic soul and how bright it is, friends and joys in my life (glitches and all)...and...the view of my children's faces (ages 14, 17, 20)...precious gifts.
.

Love is the most precious gift of life.
I John 4:18 "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
The most precious gift of death is Heaven if you are saved.
Rev. 2:10
"Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life."
Stay Strong. Best of Luck!!!!

lol, but you sound like a Helen Steiner-Rice book.

Life is what you make of it. Any meaning present in life is what we have given it. Life itself is the 'precious' thing that is a 'gift'.

I think that if I had a painful and uncurable disease that limited my ability to enjoy life enough, then death itself *might* be a gift.
