It means I go. It is conjugated in the present indicative tense or ordinary present tense and means literally I go. To say you go somewhere (for example the mall)

Voy al centro comercial

voy is the "I" conjugated form of the infinitive verb "ir" which means to go. it is a irregular verb.

Here are the forms:
voy - I go
vas- you go (informal)
va- he, she, it, you (formal) goes/go
vamos- we go
vais-they go (in spain)
van- they, you (plural) go

for example, you would say "yo voy a la piscina" which means "I go to the pool". If you want to say I am GOING to do something you would use "ir + a + an infinitive of any verb".
You would conjugate the verb "ir" to fit your subject so you can say..." Tu vas a nadar", which means "you are going to swim."

hope i helped!
