I have hypoglycemia, and yes, it sounds like that could be what you have. From my understanding, hypoglycemia is when your body does not regulate well its metabolism of sugar and insulin. When I eat sugary foods on an empty stomach, my body produces a burst of insulin to balance out the sugar. However, that creates an imbalance and then i become drowsy because even though I ate sugar, my body overreacted with the amount of insulin produced. When I go too long without eating anything, I get shakey, panickey and eventually get a migraine if i let it go on too long. Eating a small snacks through the day can help regulate your blood sugar level so that it's not going up and down.

This is when your pancreas produces too much insulin and you have to eat more often to counteract it. Much the same way that a diabetic has to take shot to provide their body with more insulin because their pancreas doesn't produce enough. You need to have your doctor test you for this. People that are Hypoglicemic have a higher chance of developing diabetes later because their pancreas is working so hard that it can just shut down.
