My exboyfriend and I dated for a year and half. We were going to get married. We had a house that had everything we needed in it. Then we started argueing over something stupid and we broke up. Now he wants me to wait for him. He asked me to come to the talent show that he was in. He also asked me to pick something out for his mom for mothers day. He calls me sometimes. What does all this mean? Does he want to be with me or just be a friend? Should I wait on him or just give up on him? we have been broken up for 3 weeks now.

it could mean that he doesnt know what he wants right now...mayb hes going though alot and doesnt know how to deal with everything at once and is stressing on stupid stuff...or he could just be lost and confused about being with you or mabe hes really afride to commit to you...
it could mean alot of things mayb you should try talking to him and see whats on his mind and mayb you could have him tell you what he wants..if that doesnt work try to just be there as a friend for now..it my be hard but mayb along the way he'll relize what he wants and if he really wants to be with you and marry you like he said he wanted to he'll be back trust me i know its happen before to me too.....if you ever need any more advice you can e-mail me im always open to new friends or any one that needs to talk..

Take a step back and play it by ear. If he loves you he'll be back, i mean you guys were going to get married and everything. If it can end so suddenly is it something you really want??

means theres no rush to get back together and does not seem to be interested in the relationship or he would call you more than sometimes. sounds like he wants you to do things for him and not concerned of what you want just pleasing him by accomodating his lifestyle and the pleasing is not returned. sounds like he just wants to be friends.
