yes, facial piercings tend to close very quickly, sometimes even in a matter of hours after having had the piercing for many months or even years!!!

Most piercings that never close up are larger gauage that you've had for an extended period of time. I have my eyebrow pierced, it's been pierced for almost 7 years, it's still open although I haven't had jewelry in it for over 2 years. I also have my noses pierced, I can leave my jewely out maybe a month and it will close up. A nose piercing probably would leave a small scar, but I think at most after it healed it would just look like a large pore, if it would even be visable at all. The important thing to remember is, it's gonna be sore, so if you aren't willing to endure a couple of weeks of having a sore nose, you might as well not do it.

Hi, I've had my nose pierced for about 5 months now. Before that, I can the other side pierced. Before even piering you should sit down and really think hmm do I really want this? And look at it from all angles - then maybe you wont regret. My nose healed right up, and today you probably wouldnt even guess that it was even pierced. just a pointer, when its healing up be sure to keep it clean by washing it with disinfectent soaps! And also be sure to keep it super clean right after you pierce it by soaking it in sea salt solution (Sea salt + water) I think thats about all you need to know! No worries!

Yes the hole will close up if you take the piercing out. It might take a while and you might have a tiny scar, but the hole is hard to notice anyway without jewelry in it.

Hey, it really depends on your body make up. I have had my nose piercing for a few years now.. now I've had it out for over a year because of work and it still hasn't grown up. However I know someone who had her nose pierced for over 3 years and it healed up after 2 weeks. Even if it doesn't heal it's not that noticiable though

After about a year the hole is considered permanent and won't close. Even if you take it out right away, it will leave a bit of a scar. Think it over before you get it done.

yeah it will close, especially if it is only two weeks after... however, two weeks after, the piercing may hurt still or even get infected so taking it out will be all you will want to do... at least thats how i felt about my belly button ring.. give it some time. :] they will close. don't worry.

I agree with most of what's been said except, they DON'T always heal. But if it's only been 2 weeks, then it will.
