i want to form my own religion, but still want to go to heaven. i am Christian, but with some of the things i see in the Bible i think should be just a little different, but i am still going to worship the Lord.

I was raised catholic and as I got older I realized that I did not agree with every thing in the catholic religion, so I studied other religions and could not find any that were for me except the science of mind, I still worship Jesus and other than that I don't claim a particular religion, so just be the best person you can be and don't get down on yourself remember Jesus himself was not part of any organized religion. Great you have the Protestant mentality which is every time you do not agree with something make a new religion call it the 5th south methobaptist Church of Illinois. Though some look at the Catholic Church's well defined hierarchy and laugh, it is why the Catholic Church is by far the most unified, and does not have people everyday splintering off with what they think Christianity should be.
Will you go to Hell for it, probably not, but God is the judge.

Well you can't change things in the Bible, but you can have a different view on them than other people. Wether you go to Heaven or not, no one can really say. I personally think that if you live by the Gospel no matter what religion you are God will judge you by that.

Rev. 7:4 &14:1 say that only 144,000 are going to heaven and Revelation 5:9,10 says that these ones were BOUGHT from the earth to rule as kings with Jesus

well, if you make your own religion then you can make your own rules right? So in your rules say that you are going to Heaven. But no, you can't make your own religion and then claim to be a Christian...some people try it's called the Emergent Church. They say love Jesus and do what you want. Maybe try that.

No, you cannot make it to heaven unless you are born of the holy spirit. Meaning Jesus. You cannot make ur own religion because God sees that as tradition. You need to only follow thew bible and get baptized to make it to heaven. So if you don't mind hell then I would make ur own religion. It is against the bible though. Also, if u r a true christian, you would not want to make ur own religion. are you baptized with the holy spirit? Or r u a christian but not baptized?

you are christian.. you believe in jesus? you believe in god? you believe and follow the 10 commandments? i may be atheist now, but i was christian once and so long as you do those things i believe you should still get your ticket into heaven. besides, if god is a just and loving god, does he not accept all his children into his kingdom? so long as they have sought forgiveness for their sins and tried to lead a life that was good and just? the bible is simply a guideline and should not be seen as a manual. believe as you wish, and as long as your love for god and your belief in what you see to be the truth is there in your heart and soul you have no problem getting into heaven no matter what you call the religion you practice.

Are you born of God, born of His Spirit, cleansed by His Blood, joint heirs with King Jesus & part of the family of God?
Then you should know that perfect religion to Father God is to help the widows, orphans, etc. and keep self from sinful living.
You can't take away from what the Lord had written, unless you want to suffer the conscequences. Just trust & obey, there is no other way, to be happy in Jesus, is to trust & obey.

If you are a Christian, you already know the answer to that one....there is only one way to heaven and it ain't by your own "religion." Jesus Christ is the answer - Read John 3:16 again and also read Psalms 139...for we are never far from God's thoughts of us!
