Check with the Tackle Box on Marathon(305-289-0540). I spoke with Jason there last week and he was telling me that they are catching yellow tail snapper from the Seven Mile Bridge in 20ft of water with pinfish. As for fishing from shore, all of the accessible waterfront in Marathon is taken up by private property so good luck. Check out my blog at http://flafin.blogspot.com for fishing reports and other helpful information.

Just throw a line in. ;)

Just like anywhere else, dropoffs, cover, structure, look for what fish like. Find a bridge (that shouldn't be hard), hit some docks, if that fails, go into a bait store and insist on knowing what's eating what where, get some of what's being eaten by what you want to catch and go to where the nice people tell you.

Enjoy
