Atheists belive God does not exist.
Then there are the Agnostic Atheists, who belive that if God exists we'll never know it.
Agnostics belive that God is unknowable.
The statement is both relative to Agnostic Atheism and Agnostic.

Sounds Agnostic to me, as far as I know, Athiests don't believe that God exists at all, and the statement implies the possibility that a God could exist, but isn't of much use to us these days...

I would say Agnostic, because I think Atheists deny the possibility of god, where as Agnostics think God possibly exists.

This sounds like something an Atheistic would say, arguing with a believer, who's view sometimes drifts towards the Agnostic, in an effort to be polite to the believer.

doesn't sound like either to me
an Atheist does not believe in God to even consider God being irrelevant
and an Agnostic , I see more as a seeker , one who has questions ... so would not see God as irrelevant

Neither one. Agnostics say they do not know. Atheists deny any god.

it is predominantly atheistic. but it does keep a possibility for the existence of "a" God when it says "any God who COULD possibly exist". although the person wud much rather believe that no such God exists

I'd say atheistic [however, I'd clarify "Zen Buddhist]"].
For normal people, it'd be agnostic, because it admits one or more might, possibly [unlikely] exist.
