Im getting a female black lab and wanted some ideas for names. Something unique, not princess or cupcake.

Sailor is my favorite dog name for a boy or a girl. I have a Schnoodle named Sailor and I just love the name.
I knew a black lab named Ella. That was a sweet name for her. I also love the name Scout (from To Kill a Mockingbird), but that one is getting pretty common.
Think of your favorite movies, books, places (countries/cities). Milan is pretty.
We were brainstorming for our second dog's name, everything we could think of. We got to "Nascar drivers", (even though we're not really fans) and we came up with "Burton" and it just fit him perfectly.

I had a friend with a Dobe named Ebony. My black lab is called Belle.

I believe Kathy A, i like jet. purely think of what the call will sound like once you call to her on the canine park. i think of candy pea is a lovable call, yet are you able to think of yelling "get the ball candy pea!" See my element. LOL

I like the idea of giving animals people names. I'd name her Becky or Lucy.
