Or just the imbalance of the Earth's atmosphere?

No to both questions. Imbalance to the Earth's atmosphere? hahahahahaha. Mr Psuedo Intellect, just what do you consider the "balance" to be? Would forest fires started by lightning, or 120 degree heat in the desert be an imbalance?

Definitely Nature in my opinion.

I am a Christian, but I don't look at these storms as God coming along and saying "time to get rid of these people". I suppose he could do that if he wanted to, but I don't think that's the way he is.

Besides, a large number of hurricanes happen that don't hit land (and thus people) .. so, what would God's Wrath be against in those cases... Fish? Birds?

:)

As for farien3's answer.. That sounds just ridiculous. God's wrath if people he/she doesn't agree with is hurt, but nature if it's Christians? I'm Christian and I think that's just about the nuttiest answer I've heard!

Hurricanes, are necessary for the Earth, to survive as they bring warm water from the tropics to the poles, in my opinion one of God's kill two birds with one stone. In one way it keeps alive God's self-sustaining work of art (Earth), in another it can destroy evils, and bring out the good (I have seen the best brought out in people after a hurricane. Tornadoes serve little purpose to the earth, and are caused by the "imbalance" in the Earth's atmosphere, but their effects in defeating evil and bringing out the good is the same.

With science we know how things happen, we can predict when they will happen (well tornadoes it is a bit sketchy often), however we look to God for the reasons things happen, and quite often when we see communities in unity ignoring race, ethnicity, and religion after a disaster we can see why it happened.

Its very, very bad weather. I am a Christian, and know that the wrath of God will come at an appointed time, period. That time has not come yet. When it does, its gonna be alot worse than a hurricane or a tornado;
People can run and hide from those........

Imbalance of the earth's atmosphere.

The current claims is that the large increase in Hurricanes and Tornadoes are due to Global Warming.

But unstable conditions were prophesied to occur during the last days.

It depends. If people who are educated and generally liberal get hurt from the disaster, it was God punishing them for sin. If instead it was good wholesome moral Christians who got smacked around, it was the work of the Devil or perhaps an imbalance in the Earths atmosphere.

Not God's wrath.

Remember God's promise to not destroy the earth by flood? It also applies to hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunamis, earthquakes, etc. These are not acts of wrath by God.

god's wrath?
dont be silly

its just the earth balancing itself out
hurricanes redistribute the heat absorbed by the atmosphere to cooler parts of the earth; they are natural, and healthy
