just because a group grabs on to something that was given as a covenant by God for something completely different, doesnt make it 'theirs'
God promised thru the rainbow, that he would never bring a great flood again to the earth. it was a sign of that covenant... the rainbow belongs to God and we know what He says about it all

ok, um , wow you have some problems. The rainbow's recent association with homosexuality does not have a thing to do with God. I doubt you actually care, but the rainbow is a biblical symbol given to Noah as evidence of the covenant God made with man that he would never again destroy the earth with water. Genesis 9:12

The rainbow was a sign of the covenant God made with Noah. God would never destroy the earth again by water, but the next time by fire. Rainbows are not a sign of gay rights. According to the Bible, gays have no rights because they are going against God's plan. God does love gays, but he hates the sin they commit.

Rainbows aren't really the symbol for homosexuality... rainbows have many meanings. (Happiness, gay pride, God's promise not to cause another Great Flood, harmony of different people, etc.) You can't just mix and match various meanings into something like "God having gay sex."

Actually the rainbow was a covenant promise symbol by God that he would never again destroy the world by flood waters.
It's in the Bible Guy.
Gen 9:12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
Gen 9:13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
Gen 9:14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
Gen 9:15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
Gen 9:16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

Dear Dr. BOZO,
Just because you're having gay sex every time you see a rainbow does'nt mean God is. Look up the term "projection" for an explanation of you're behavior.

That's the most retarded thing I've ever heard. It's the homos that decided they wanted to take on the rainbow as a symbol. Yet another one of God's gifts taken for personal use and distorted for a sick reason.

if a question like this is the symbol of ignorance...
then everytime you see one, the person must be ignoring the writings of the bible? or well not that... but it must mean the person does not know anything about rainbows...

The rainbow is God's covenant with man that he would never flood the earth again; read about it in the old testament.
