Roosters don't have the abilatey to lay the eggs but they do take part in the conception, and I don't think it matters which way the wind is blowing then LOL

roosters are mails, which lack the ability to produce eggs, however you didnt say how they layed it, so technicly they could have carried in their beak and laid in on the top with their mouth, then it would depend on which side they dropped it closer to, and how hard the wind was i msure the answer you were looking for is that roosters dont lay eggs.
