i tried to get a bank account from first bank but was turned down cause of chexsystems.

There are many banks and credit unions that do not use Chex.
You might go to www.chexvictims.com and look through their free database of banks and CU's to find one in your area.

I think B of A doesn't use chexsystems. Us Bank does use chexsystems, but they will open an account for you anyway. I got an account with Us Bank when I was in Chexsystems.
Wells Fargo has a second chance bank account for people who are in chexs, but it is not free, I think the montly fee is $10.00

All banks subscribe to systems which tell them whether you've left another bank owing them money, or were fraudulent in any way. Data is shared with all reporting organizations, so you can't avoid this. See if you can clean up your history with the previous bank. That won't solve the problem, but is a step in the right direction.

Call chexsystems and find out how to get removed from their system.
