you have a severe skin condition, seek medical assistance from a dermatologist and or allergist.
another reason, your mind is psychologically effecting your body because of some trauma associated with Christianity. kind of like how a placebo effects the body, your mind is causing the injury because you are nuts. seek psychological help.
next, the ashes and water are not from reputable places.
then there is the last reason, the one you want to hear. you're evil.

contamination of the water.. from the minerals the baptismal bowl is made of?
or are you just joshing that the water is "catholic priest sanctified, holy"?
why would you be putting ashes on your forehead.. are you following Jewish tradition of mourning?
perhaps you should cease such practices and get some ointment or cream to clear up that skin irritation... and consider getting a doctor's excuse to refrain from such practices.
...
or... if this is all some big ha ha.... figure out some other way to get your jollies.

You really need to read "Rosacea Free Forever" by Laura Taylor (also available in electronic format here: http://www.rosaceafreeforever.info ). It's about how to permanently cure your Rosacea naturally. I cured my Rosacea permanently in only 4 days after reading this.
Stop paying paying each month good money on creams. This is exactly what the pharmaceutical industry wants you to do! They want to milk money from you each month.

Sounds like you may be allergic to something in the ashes. You may be overly sensitive. Same goes for the water. Holy water is regular water that has been blessed. Who knows where they got the water from?
