There is no expanding or shrinking...it is what it is as it's experienced. All is right as it should be.
The " goal " might be to not have any " circle " at all. The Pure Light has no shape, form, limits. It's the Pureness felt...not the boundaries of any "circle"

I will make an assumption in that you are talking about the The People, The Human Beings, etc's interpretation of life. That there is no death. Just a birth- death circle, or
"THE CIRCLE
The circular ring of the dream catcher is significant to native Americans. It imitates the shape of the Earth and mirrors the orbital path of the planets around the sun. It represents the circle of life -- a circle which all living things are a part. With no beginning and no end, it is a metaphor of the belief that life also has no beginning and no end. Death, Native Americans believe, is a part of life, even after a body turns to dust, the spirit continues on."
It is no different than any other belief. Just another aspect of "LIFE"
Namaste
Peace and Love
PS
Here under this grass
I will soon release my mind to travel where it must
Here under these roots
I will go when my heart walks the path of sacred smoke
Here under this earth
I will learn the Earthdream song
Here under these stones
I will find the center of the circle my soul walks
When, living, I revisit the Earth-Mother

I think it's different for each of us. For some, experiences become a reason to be more inclusive, expanding of our selves and our lives like a drop of rain on a still pond, rippling outward in ever growing circles.... For others, as they age, the circle shrinks, and there is an urgency to focus on those last few things before one passes on.....

Depends on your perspective..
For theists who realize they are animals like any other they become aware they are part of the circle of life. For them it expands.
When scientists discover new species, I suppose our perspective of it grows too. Our increased understanding of the interconnectedness of all things I suppose could increase it as well.
All the things expanding it are about our own perspectives. It's not actually getting bigger, we are just realizing it is bigger than we thought.
In actuality, I would say it is shrinking because of species becoming extinct at a rate not seen in 500 million years. We are destroying ecosystems through our ignorance and our mindset in trying to expand humanity's sphere of influence.
If diversity is good for your stock portfolio, why don't people see how important diversity is for the ecosystem?

You should adjust for everyone. Try to be what they like when you are on the other same and be the same on the other side. That is really the easiest way for me in not loosing friends. Go with the flow. But wait, don't let them rule you. Let them feel that you can live without them so that they would think that you are not that really afraid. Just analyze my answer clearly
