Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I have learned a great deal from your show, and try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate. I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the other specific laws and how to follow them:

Ok to all of those who say that this is the old testament and Jesus made the new testament, etc. Can you give me an example in the new testament that says gay people are wrong!?!?!? Don't think Jesus ever addresses that issue?!?!? Any takers!?!??!

I LOVE it! LOL! That so perfectly sums up everything I've always wanted to say to busybodies like Dr. Laura or your typical fundamentalist christian. My husband's family is Orthodox Jewish, so it always makes me laugh when people just pick and choose which "rules" to follow - his family are actually trying to follow all 613 commandments, and you don't hear them harrasing homosexuals. Yet people having premarital sex, eating shellfish, swearing at their parents, ...well, they want to get all uppity about just one little "rule", and only as it pertains to other people's lives.
LOL thanks for the humor
EDIT: I wanted to agree wtih the Christian poster who was equally annoyed at the desire to "cherry-pick" which rules to follow. Not all Christians do this, and I greatly respect those that can resist the urge and actually listen to Jesus' teachings.

In response to the answerer who recommended purchasing the Toronto Blue Jays...you might snag a couple of Canadians that way, but then what are you gonna do with all of the Puerto Ricans & Cubans you just purchased?
I love that letter. It is a great example of how deep the hypocrisy goes. All the way down the rabbit hole...

Because the last time the American's tried it in 1812 we burned Washington and were smart enough to give back Detroit as part of the peace treaty. At the end of the war the richest man in North America was a privateer ship owner from Nova Scotia. His ship alone the Liverpool Packet captured 50 American ships alone.

Besides most of the laws in question there were specific to the temple and the priesthood. I doubt you Jew and are a descendant of Levitt's so you don't qualify anyway.
Slaves at that time were only to be owned for 7 years and then given their freedom or they could buy their freedom based on the number of years to Jubilee unlike the American system of slaves until dead.

Thank you for presenting this information, have you checked out godhatesshrimp.com?, another good one
The thing i think everyone needs to realize, Godfolk and athiest alike, is that those who pretend to try to educate people on God's law can't "cherry pick" the bible. meaning this, in another far more influential section of the bible known as the New Testement (bible thumpers, have you heard of it?) Jesus Himself indicates, judge not lest ye be judged, by the measure you judge others, ye shall be judged.
I myself am a christian, and like you, i fight against these bigotous persecutors who like to point the finger of shame at those who are unlike them and engage in behavior that makes them uncomfortable, while they choose to sift through the bible for their own gains, all the while conviently ignoring the basis of our fair relegion, Christ's teachings. It's not "Christ"ianity by accident people, maybe if they spent a little more time reading the bible than they do beating it, they may learn something.
EDIT> Your assumption that homosexuality is not addressed in the new testament is unfortunatly incorrect. 1 Corinthians 6:9 makes reference to homosexuals being "unwelcome" in the kingdom of heaven, but also refers to drunks and the like in the same manner. HOWEVER, this was written in a letter from Paul to corinth, not written in fact by Jesus, so that part of your assumption is correct, Jesus never mentioned homosexuality. Look, bottom line no one, for or against the bible should "cherry pick" it. You can't pick and choose which part to believe, I honestly think the worst thing in biblical textual history had to be when the bible was seperated into chapters and verses, this welcomed the awful behavior of everyone to select verses in which to prove their own points, for or against. The bible should be taken as a whole living work, if you so choose to believe in it. Otherwise, put it down, back away slowly and leave my God's words out of your mouths, both self-proclaimed word educators and those who intend to find flaw

Very funny link! I must be an abomination, too, because I go to Red Lobster and eat shellfish. I also wear a lot of clothes made from a blend of different types of fibers and cloth. In my opinion, you shouldn't be able to pick and choose verses from the Bible to prove a point. You either accept it all or none at all.

Yes, of course your right. Jesus said that no one can please God by trying to obey Old Testament law. Jesus offered an alternative in the New Testament. In the Bible, it comes right after the old one. Let me know when you get that far.

lol I got this e-mailed to me a few years ago. It's hilarious.
I think this is my favorite: "When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord - Lev.1:9. The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?" lol
