There are millions of diets out there. If you're really serious, just type "diet" in google, and you will be bombarded with millions.
All diets have basically the same idea behind them. You want to burn more calories than that of what you eat. Sounds simple... well it is. Doing it is the hard part.
Just be strict on yourself.
I once gained around 10 pounds of muscle, and got anoyed, and in 2 weeks dropped like 8 pounds (not sure how healthy that was, but it worked fast).
If you want to drop your weight super fast (if you don't have much time), what I would do is go on a NO FAT NO CARB diet. This will dropt he weight the fastest. What does this mean. This:
No fat allowed in diet:
this includes fatty meats
fatty creams/dressings
mayonaise
egg yolks
cheese
milk (unless lowfat)
anything dairy basically, unless lowfat
well... i hope ure getting idea... no fat
No carbs:
No bread
no noodles/spaggeti/pene/fetuccini, etc.
no cookies, donuts
Nothing that has the taste/feeling or bread
no beer
Etc. Anything that gives you carbs
EAT THIS:
Salads are your BEST friend. (no dressings). (add some vinegar and salt for taste if you can't stand them normal)
Vegetables (only cooked, raw, not friend, or with creams or dressings)
Chicken Breast, Lean Meat
Turkey white meat
This is to drop weight SUPER FAST.
If you have ALOT of time to drop the weight, and want to go gradually, then you can basically do this, but instead of cutting out the fat and carbs, cut your FAT/CARB intake by 50% (by half).
IMPORTANT:
IF YOU EVER FEEL HUNGRY, like you definitely will, and feel that you are about to fall into eating, DRINK WATER. Drink to fill yourself. If you find it not helping, makes salads. Snack on cellery, carrots. etc. IT's not so hard
OPTION 2:
If you cant stand the water salad idea when ure hungry, here is another option that works:
COOKED POTATOS. Eat all the fricking cooked potatos you want. No butter, no anything on the side... just them.
The theory behind this one is, after the first day of cooked potatoes, you will get SO SICK OF THEM, u will RATHER STAY HUNGRY than eat anymore...
Then again, you can not go on a diet, and hope to drop the 26 pounds magically.... but it won't happen.
Hope this helps.

there are many ways to lose weight.
first of all watch your salt income, like it says on the front page of yahoo, it can make you more hungry, which, of course will put more weight on you. Instead of comming home and having a bowl of chips or a bag of popcorn with some soda try an apple or banana with some juice or water. When you go to the grocery store check the label before you buy it. If the ingrediants has something that you cannot say, then you probably shouldn't buy it. Also, check how much sugar it has, and when you're debating weather to buy the lucky charms or fruit loops check the label for sugar and fat. Never! go on a starvation diet. When you do that you are just staying hungry and your body thinks that there is no food so it just keeps the fat so you won't be as hungry. This does lose some weight, but not nearly as much as the regular diets. So yeah, keep on eating...but another thing is before you go to the grocery store, have a snack, because otherwise you can get tempted to get very unhealthy things. Deserts and sugary foods are good on occasions, but eating them a lot can jam pack the fat on you. Also get the less sugar foods. Even more important, get (at least) an hour of excircise each day weather it's talking a walk with a two-year-old or running a five mile race, its excircise.
So eat healthy, drink your water, and excircise
and you should be fine

I have been saying this all day it seems! in order to lose weight you have to burn more calories than you consume in a day! If you are concentrating on your stomach, start running or biking, cardio will burn the most fat, also do crunches and other ab exercises in the morning and before you go to bed!! it should come off pretty fast if you start right away and keep at it

DO NOT DO THIS!!!!!!
The FASTEST way to lose weight is anorexia or bulemia. That is the FASTEST but is very dangerous. You mostly lose muscle but it is still classified as weight. I am not condoning this in any way, but it is still the fastest. it is also the easiest, or atleast Bulemia is.
If you want to lose FAT the safe way than you have to diet and exercise. Mix in weight lifting, too! Exercise in the morning and EAT BREAKFAST!!!!!
Another way is liposuction...this could be dangerous, but should only be done if you are seriously obese.

I have a big problem with my thighs, but you can't rush losing weight. I lost about 8 pounds eating healthy and getting out a little more. For your stomach do sit ups or leg lifts.

Dont do cardio. Instead lift weights, but do excercises that work a lot of muscle groups at once. For example squats and bench press work several muscles at once where bicepe curls only work one. Therefor squats and bench press would be physically demanding on your body and use more energy. And you will gain muscle which will increase your metbolic rate, which means you will burn more calories when your not doing anything.

exercise and a good well balanced diet. Remember that a diet doesn't have to be eating nothing. Its just basically eating the right kind of foods and how much you eat of them. Don't try on of those fad diets because their not the real healthy ways to lose weight. Also good luck

Exercise, drink lots of water and eat the recommended daily calorie intake for someone your size. Don't "diet". Eat what you want but in moderation.
There are a few good routines that's you could try (depending comfort level) at

Longest term way is to eat less and move more. Plain and simple. Ask your dr. about stomach fat though.
