I signed up for the bag from them ,now I get repeat sign ups in my e-mail.How many times do you have to sign up?How big are they?Thanks in advance.

This is what the site says -- though it IS hard to find:
"All users who reach level 2 or higher on Yahoo! Answers who have also registered for the promotion will receive a Yahoo! Answers tote bag as a thank you gift just for participating. Please allow six to eight weeks for delivery of gift. You must be level 2 or higher as of June 13, 2007 to receive this gift. Level 1 users can still qualify for the gift by earning enough points to become level 2 before June 13, 2007."
Due to that, I would not expect to see the bags any EARLIER than end of July, beginning of August (they usually don't even BEGIN to mail them until the "qualifying" deadline is done.)

Just signed up yesterday! Can't wait - it will make my walking trips to the dollar store easier. Saw the bag on one of the ads - looks good. It does take a while for this stuff - it took about 3 wks for my Y!Answers hat to get here.

I just signed up today. Funny thing though, the email mentioned the bag, but the sign-up page only mentioned earning points to get a light bulb.

Yeah, I got the email about the bag and then in the register part they mentioned the light bulb....the light bulb would be cool too, but I'd like the bag to use for grocery shopping!

Only once, they probably are making a mistake and didn't take you off the e-mail recipient list the 1st time. I'm not sure but I wouldn't be too excited about it.
I hope you get your bag though!

that's top, rub it in! We Canadians get 'diddly-squat' from Yahoo. they simply celebrated their first birthday and there have been no longer any specific acceptance prizes like there have been for the 1st 300 and sixty 5 days of Yahoo solutions US.

I am such a bag freak!!! I only registered because I want the Free Bag to show off my Answers Spirit! Anyway, I also noticed that when you are registering it doesn't mention the bag again.... So hopefully it wasn't just a trick....but only time will tell...

I haven't got mine yet. I am looking forward to it tho. I love to use canvas bags when I go shopping and to yard sales and hospitals. There great to take to carnivals and shows like an outdoor sports show to bring home free goodies in.

I signed up to get one but you have to get loads of best answers in the environment category first which is why I'm here. I suppose it's a good scam!
