the Seas rising by 20 feet? Sounds alittle dramatic. don't forget this is the guy preaching about global warming, when alaska had the coldest winter in 75 years. Go figure. I think he's a wind bag.
Besides...We are working to lower emissions, and things keep getting worse? does anyone see a pattern here? Mother Nature does as she will. --I'm not saying stop trying to lessen the polution, i'm just asking if anyone sees a pattern.--

Not even the IPCC agrees with Al Gore's doomsday scenario. The IPCC says the seas will only rise a few inches at most. If Al Gore lied about this what else is he lying about?

While the sea levels may rise in the future (and not purely for reasons of global warming... water expands as it's heated and the rise/fall in the land masses also play a huge part in the determination of the sea level), it won't be nearly as drastic as what Gore is saying. He's merely fishing for media attention.

Well the weather is really changing. He is not the first person to predict this stuff. While most right it off, it is actually happening. So go to hawaii and enjoy it while you can. It will not disappear anytime soon or at least i hope it doesnt.

Not only Al Gore says that, many scientist after analysing our planet came to that conclusion.

This is a serious issue. Our poles are melting because global warming and in consecuence our oceans are rising. That will affect every place that is lower that the ocean level at that time.

I live in Puerto Rico, an island on the Caribbean so I or my decendats will have to move to a higher place eventually.

Shallin should change her to shallow, more fitting. I wonder how much she and others with her attitude(mostly that alone), have read and learned about what several scientist , not uneducated people, are saying about what's happening in the environment today. Sorry, but Al is not alone. So you'll have to ridicule a whole lot of people, who know a whole lot more about it than yourselves, too. Why don't you go learn about what's being learned, BEFORE you start the trap. But, personally, I wouldn't care if you people who don't care about it, would stay on the coastline, you know ,just for spite. You don't believe, stay there. You will do the globe a favor. Please do. Please!!!! I do so hope you do!!!

Please! If Al Gore said the sky was falling, would you believe it? The earth has been around for a very long time, and there are many past significant changes and evolutions. Please don't think Hawaii is going to disappear any time soon!

Go there before it's too late. It probably won't completely disappear for at least 40 years.

While this won't happen for a while, most people in the scientific community agree that this could happen if all the water in that ice is added back into the oceans.
