what do i feed my algee fish with i,ve tryed small pellets and he does not go for them well i,ve not seen him eat them anyway is there something else i dont want to lose another one

Do you mean a Pleco?

They will eat all veggies, I feed mine Zucchini, Cucumber, and Carrots.

They eat algae wafers and actual algae on the glass. Don't feed it flakes unless you know that some willg et to the bottom and that the other fish in the tank won't get to it first. If you've already lost one, it is doubtful that it was due to food. Is your tank big enough? Is the water the right temperature and pH? Does he have hiding places so he doesn't get stressed?

It probably would be best if you told us what type of fish it is, as some L numbers will only graze on wood, if however, its a run of a mill type like Otto's or Simease Algae eaters then they should readily take Algae wafers or normal flake.

Feed him flakes. That is what my angel fish used to eat. He lived a long time and grew very big.

Feed him Algea Wafers. I would recommend "Hikari" it is a really good fish food brand.

you can buy algee flakes, i think the grow the algee, that way they can it it, do you have a suker fish??

Is'nt that why they are called algae fish, they eat the algae in the tank, they are recommended to keep your tank cleaner.

if u mean algae fish just grow algae or use regular fish food (the flakes for aquarium fish)
