Hey, I kinda know what your going through. Life can be very stressful. I'm a senior in high school. I've always been a very stressful person. Something that I find helps, it makeing a list of things to do that day. Just take things day by day. And always set some time for you to do the funnest thing in the whole wide world. I know I'm not in college yet, so I really can't say much about it, but I hope you don't drop out. There were times this year I really wanted too. you just have to stick with you. And maybe this year you just needed to adjust to the college life, and next year will be better.

Good luck =]

I use to feel the same way you do. College can be really stressful and sometimes the people you really need to talk to can't help. You should try and talk to your college counselor to get back on track with school. You should also think about maybe talking to a doctor to see that your depression does not continue. Hope this helps.

Don't feel ashamed to admit that you may need to talk to someone. That's what the professionals are there for.

I felt that way upon leaving college and I'm sure many others have as well. It's part of growing. Just another hurdle that will show you what you're made of! Don't go giving up on yourself just yet.

Get a job. Move out of your parents home. Find new friends.

Sorry if that sounds simplistic. And I realize "it's not that easy", but if you make the choices and do those three things, life will change for you. You'll be surprised.

maybe college isn't your cup of tea....perhaps you need to explore other avenues to a profession. At any rate, your depression is likely situational, which means it will pass as you improve your situation.
