Rumor has it that this is the recipe:
INGREDIENTS:
1 can (approximately 14 ounces) chicken broth
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 and 1/2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
1/3 cup biscuit mix
salt and pepper, to taste
PREPARATION:
In blender, combine all ingredients. Blend at high speed until smooth. Pour into a saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, for about 4 or 5 minutes, or until the gravy is smooth and thickened.
Taste and add salt and pepper, if needed. Serve hot. Makes about 2 cups of gravy.

How many dorks are going try to slime KFC
idiots that make it difficult to be sincere
and overlooked as best answer.
I am sure from the postings. That there may be flavor pack they sell.
But the reality is the recipe for any country gravy is very simple
Flour. Milk any thing after this makes it Yours OR KFC
If you use dehydrated ingredients like KFC you can put it in a package. What is cheaper for YOU
Experiment

I presently have a job at a KFC and I can for sure tell you that it is made from the crackling (the sludge in the catcher of the deepfryer), and its made with other fresh ingredients, its just like homemade so its better then some powdered stuff like some people are claiming we use. Its real good stuff.

I don't know how KFC does it. but if you would like to make any gravy here ya go---
Make a rue (equall parts flour to fat)
(fat= butter, oil, lard, etc)
you let that cook for about min or two. then add stock(chicken, beef, turkey, etc.) usually about 1 tablespoon of rue to 1 cup of liquid works well. be sure to use a wisk that way you won't have lumps. that's the basics from there add what ever spices you like.

I don't know how KFC does it, but I make it by adding chicken boullion to flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder and either milk or water, cooking slow using metal whisk, stirring constantly. Is better if after frying your chicken, you drain the skillet and leave any "drippings" and a small portion of the oil in the pan, then add the above ingredients. YUM!!!
